- Use the API only for its intended purpose of email validation and verification
- Not resell or redistribute API access without written permission
- Not attempt to reverse engineer our detection algorithms
- Keep your API keys secure and not share them publicly
You must not use our services to process or validate data related to:
- Protected health information (PHI) without proper authorization
- Financial data subject to PCI-DSS compliance without proper safeguards
- Children's data (under 13 years) without COPPA compliance
- Data obtained through illegal or unauthorized means
- Sensitive personal information without proper consent
To maintain service quality for all users, you must not:
- Generate excessive load that degrades service performance
- Use multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits
- Share accounts across multiple organizations or users
- Interfere with or disrupt our infrastructure or other users
- Attempt denial-of-service attacks or similar malicious actions
If you discover a security vulnerability or bug in our system:
- Report it to us immediately at security@api-armor.com
- Do not exploit the vulnerability for any purpose
- Do not disclose the vulnerability publicly until we have addressed it
- Provide reasonable time for us to fix the issue before disclosure
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:
- Warning: First-time or minor violations may receive a warning
- Temporary Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations may result in account suspension
- Permanent Termination: Serious or repeated violations will result in account termination
- Legal Action: Illegal activities may be reported to law enforcement
- No Refund: Terminated accounts are not eligible for refunds
